McCOY ~
Our idea generator, strategic planner and key buzz maker
at IMPACT. Well known in garden-writing circles, she
is active in Garden Writers Association of America,
a member of the National Gardening Association, American
Horticultural Society, Pennsylvania Horticultural Society,
and a speaker in the field. Prior to founding
IMPACT in 1987, she worked in both agency and corporate
marketing and public relations. Involved in both the
business and non-profit communities, she graduated from
the University of South Carolina with a Masters of Journalism,

 STACEY
PIERSON ~
Our
green industry trade and product placement specialist,
Stacey works to build brand awareness by increasing
media exposure, launching new products, maintaining
relationships with national and state associations and
coordinating events. She has secured national
placements for her clients in Real Simple, Martha
Stewart Living, Better Homes & Gardens, House & Garden,
and Garden Design to name a few. She has a BS degree
from The Pennsylvania State University and is an active
volunteer with the Penn State Alumni Association and the

CINDY
COMBS ~ An avid gardener, gardening business
owner, and experienced marketer and public relations
professional, Cindy represents Garden Media Group™ clients
to the media in the gardening mecca of Washington, Oregon
and northern California. Based in Seattle,
she focuses on crafting and executing multifaceted campaigns
with a local spin to capture the attention of gardeners
in the lucrative Northwest market. Cindy is active
in Garden Writers Association and numerous horticultural

 KAREN
CREELY
~
Experienced
in advertising, communications, marketing and
promotions, Karen’s background has varied as the Sales
Promotion Coordinator at Philadelphia’s WBEB Radio
(B101.1 FM), Communications Manager for Philadelphia’s
historic Walnut Street Theatre and PR/Creative
Consultant for Main Line Health System. She worked with
Harmelin Media and also promoted WHYY’s War Letters
Project on the USS Battleship New Jersey. Karen
primarily will be providing Customer Relations to and
creating ‘Buzz’ for GMG’s clients through the GMG’s blog
‘The Garden Plot’.

 LYNNE WHELAN
~ GMG’s chief story teller, Lynne’s first
cultivated a "blended garden" behind her farmhouse,
shortly after graduating from Penn State with a degree
in Human Development and the Arts. She has been a
screenwriter and producer for television and documentary
films and has ghost written memoirs. As a marketing
consultant, she developed creative concepts and wrote
collateral materials. Before joining GMG, Lynne was
executive director for the Pennsylvania division of the
National Child Care Association where she managed sales
and marketing, wrote newsletters, and designed and

TRACEY BROWN
~ IMPACT's office manager and bookkeeper.
Her savvy with numbers and creativity is a winning
combination! She runs the office, handles the books,
supports the staff, manages the web site , and adds her
unique creative flair to just about every project that
comes along. Helping out wherever needed while remaining
calm under the gun, her 19 + years experience keeps our
office running smoothly.
